Project summary

Unmasking Nature is a site-specific, interactive project informed by the natural environments the artist will encounter in Croatia, the UK and Bulgaria while presenting at each festival. The artist has developed video works, sensory walking events and interactive workshops in the context of Irish sites including Cavan Burren Park, and will develop the project further through new site-specific engagements and participatory workshops with audiences in Croatia, UK and Bulgaria through the EFFEA. Unmasking Nature connects new publics to the healing potential of the landscape and reflects on the place of the human within nature by exploring neurodivergent ways of engaging with the environment.
