Project summary

NOITU (Sašo Pučkovski) is an audio-visual artist and sound designer whose site-specific works investigate perception, resonance, and spatial sound. During the residency at Koncertai Burmistrui (Lithuania), he will create a new spatial-sound performance exploring the interaction between architecture, history, and acoustic space in Merkinė’s heritage sites. Working with local young artists and sound-engineering students, he will experiment with recording, sound diffusion, and spatial design to transform these spaces into living instruments. Partner festivals Niansa (Slovenia) and ISPOD BINE (Croatia) will support the project through online mentoring and European dissemination.

Biography: Sašo Pučkovski (NOITU) is a cross-disciplinary audio-visual artist and sound designer based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. His work merges sonic, visual, and interactive arts through site-specific performances and immersive spatial compositions. Using field recordings, non-standard tunings, and real-time sound manipulation, he investigates the relationship between sound, architecture, and perception. His performances have been presented at venues and festivals such as OSMO/ZA and Indigo Festival (Slovenia), integrating live sound collaging, projection, and experimental acoustics into unified sensory experiences that blur the boundaries between technology and environment.
