Project summary

The project creates the opportunity for two young composers (one Italian and one Slovenian) to have a chamber opera performed as a fully staged work. The project will produce a chamber opera in two parts (each of max 40 minutes) with soloists, actor and ensemble of 15 elements. All the creative process will develop from the cities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica's cultural and historical heritage in order to investigate new languages of contemporary musical theatre - the next generation creating a truly borderless cultural and musical ecosystem.
