Project summary

Following a successful pilot in 2022, The Theatre Festival Vlaanderen, the Netherlands Theatre Festival and Battersea Arts Centre are collaborating on SCENE CHANGE: an international exchange programme at three festivals in the late summer of 2023. During the Horizon Showcase (led by UK consortium including Battersea Arts Centre) at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Nederlands Theatre Festival and Het TheaterFestival, we are inviting six performance makers who will come together to see and reflect on the shows at the festivals, share their own artistic practices and working conditions, discuss current international themes and trends in performance and ultimately share your ideas and observations. We are only applying for the part of the residency in BE and NL.
